Sam Pottle é uma espécie de Burt Bacharach do mundo Muppet. Criou o célebre tema dos Muppets com o Jim Henson e foi diretor musical de Sesame St. Em 1975 foi indicado ao Grammy pela trilha do musical Monsters!, que é considerado um “full Broadway blitz” não só pelos arranjos mas também pelas letras.
